Located two blocks from Mark Twain's boyhood home in downtown Hannibal.
Features hamburgers and breakfast food, but has a variety of food, from
lasagna to polish sausages. The Becky Thatcher restaurant has a small diner
atmosphere and good cheeseburgers. Prices are low -- a burger, fries and
milk shake cost less than $5.
Bubba's Family Restaurant

Hours:
5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 11 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through
Saturday, closed Sunday through Tuesday
Bubba's sits next to the Mississippi River in an old warehouse located
downtown. It serves a side variety of food, including Cajun and Italian.
Specializes in catfish and barbecue. All food is prepared according to
Bubba's own recipes developed over the past 30 years.
Fiddlesticks

Fiddlesticks is a new restaurant in the area and is located off Highway
36, west of town, but east of the hospital. It is a large restaurant with a
sports bar area. The bar has tables and several televisions. It has a
diverse menu and serves everything from hamburgers to lobster tail.
Gran Rio Mexican Restaurant
206 Steamboat Bend Shopping Center. 406-0404

11 a.m. to 9 p.m., daily
Located off Highway 61, just south of Highway 36 in the Steamboat Bend
Shopping Center. It has free chips and salsa, as well as daily lunch
specials. A local favorite, the Grand Rio Mexican Restaurant has good food
at moderate prices.
Huck's Homestead

Monday through Saturday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Huck's Homestead is located four miles south of Hannibal on Highway 61.
It has a full buffet, catering and is available for private parties.

Logue's Restaurant

Logue's is locally owned and offers a variety of meal choices. It is
located just off Highway 61, north of Huckleberry Park. Breakfast is served
all day and the dinner menu includes roast beef, pork cutlets, chicken and
ham. Prices are moderate and all orders can be prepared to go.
Lula Belle's

Lula Belles is just a block away from Mark Twain's boyhood home. The
food is great and the atmosphere is unique. The building housed a
brothel from 1917 until the 1950s. Lula Belles specilizes in pastas and
steaks, but the menu has hamburgers and chicken too. There are daily
lunch and dinner specials and at dinner, all dinner meals are served
with a shrimp platter.
Mark Twain Family Restaurant

Since 1942, the Mark Twain Family Restaurant has been a favorite of the
people of Hannibal. Renowned for its maid-rites and root beer (made on the
premises and served in frosty mugs), the restaurant offers a variety of menu
choices. There are more than 20 sandwiches to choose from as well as
full-course meals. On Saturday and Sunday there is a full breakfast buffet
in the morning. The Mark Twain Family Restaurant is located in downtown
Hannibal.
Ole Planters Restaurant

Located in downtown Hannibal, the Ole Planters Restaurant has the feel
of a New Orleans Jazz Club. Sounds of B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughn fill
the air along with the smell of a variety of quality food. Menu features
barbecue, catfish, spaghetti and chicken dinners. A pork tenderloin meal is
a speciality.
Pirate's Cove

Pirate's Cove is located off Highway 61, south of Highway 36. Its
specialities are beef, seafood and chicken. Reservations are suggested.
