Where the Locals eat.


These are the places to eat when visiting Hannibal. Good food and a good verity. There's something for everyone here.

Riverview Cafe
Located at Sawyers Creek , 11011 Highway 79 South , Hannibal MO 63401 573-221-8221
An American Restaurant with an Italian Flavor. Enjoy a sandwich or our Classic Salad Bar or select from a complete menu. Top it of with a delicious homemade dessert and your favorite beverage. Every table has a great view of the Mississippi River... in season you can dine inside or outside.

Lula Belle's
111 Bird 221-6662 Hours: lunch: 11am-2pm M-Sa.
Dinner: 5pm-9om M-Th 5pm-10pm Friday and Saturday

Lula Belles is just a block away from Mark Twain's boyhood home. The food is great and the atmosphere is unique. The building housed a brothel from 1917 until the 1950s. Lula Belles specializes in pastas and steaks, but the menu has hamburgers and chicken too. There are daily lunch and dinner specials and at dinner, all dinner meals are served with a shrimp platter.

TJ's Supper Club
Hwy 36 & Munger Lane 221-5551
Hours: lunch 11am-4pm daily
4pm-10pm Su-Th
4pm-11pm Fr-Sa
Located on Highway 36, west of Highway 61. Serves steaks, chicken and has lunch specials. Has Banquet facilities. There is a bar that is a local hangout. Good prime rib.

Fiddlesticks

10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily
Fiddlesticks is a new restaurant in the area and is located off Highway 36, west of town, but east of the hospital. It is a large restaurant with a sports bar area. The bar has tables and several televisions. It has a diverse menu and serves everything from hamburgers to lobster tail.

Gran Rio Mexican Restaurant
206 Steamboat Bend Shopping Ctr. 406-0404
Hours: 11am-9pm 7 days a week
Located off Highway 61, just south of Highway 36 in the Steamboat Bend Shopping Center. It has free chips and salsa, as well as daily lunch specials. A local favorite, the Grand Rio Mexican Restaurant has good food at moderate prices.

Logue's Restaurant
121 Huckleberry Heights Dr. 248-1854
Hours: 6am-9pm 7 days a week
Logue's is locally owned and offers a verity of meal choices. It is located just off Highway 61, north of Huckleberry Park. Breakfast is served all day and the dinner menu includes roast beef, pork cutlets, chicken and ham. Prices are moderate and all orders can be prepared to go.

Mark Twain Family Restaurant
400 N 3rd 221-5300
Hours: 6am-9pm daily
Since 1942 the Mark Twain Family Restaurant has been a favorite of the people of Hannibal. Renowned for its maid-rites and root beer (made on the premises and served in frosty mugs), the restaurant offers a wide verity of menu choices. There are more than 20 sandwiches to choose from as well as full course meals. On Saturday and Sunday there is a full breakfast buffet in the morning. The Mark Twain Family Restaurant is located in downtown Hannibal.

Ole Planters Restaurant

Dinner: 4:30pm-8pm M-W & F-Sa
Closed Thursday and Sunday
Located in downtown Hannibal, the Ole Planters Restaurant has the feel of a New Orleans Jazz Club. Sounds of B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughn fill the air along with the smell of a wide verity of quality food. Menu features BBQ, catfish, spaghetti and chicken dinners. A pork tenderloin meal is one of their specialties.
