Hannibal is home to many unique shops and antique malls. If you are looking for a special, rare, one-of-a-kind gift, you are going to find it in one of Hannibal's noteworthy shops. Let's start by taking a walk down Hannibal's famous Main Street.


Mississippi Mall

Duane & Nancy Bowman opened Mississippi Mall almost 2 years ago. This eclectic mixture features Shabby Chic decor, painted furniture, antique dishes, books, vintage jewelry, clothing, kitchenware & various memorabilia. Hickory Stick Quilt and Gift Shop

Three historic row buildings in downtown Hannibal house a shop filled with florals, wall decor, lamps, fine linens, Boyds Doll Stone Collectibles, locally made quilts, English ironstone table settings, quilting supplies, fabric, stamped embroidery kits, cross-stitch and beading kits and unique buttons. Called a quilter's dream the Hickory Stick is also a dream come true for gift givers. Department 56 villages houses and accessories are available and cards for almost any occasion can be found. Angels and Inspirations

A very special shop with a calm and serene atmosphere is what you will find at 221 North Main Street in Hannibal, this is the location for Angles and Inspirations. Guests can't help but feel good while browsing at religious art work by Thomas Kincade, Seraphim Classic Collectible Angels and inspirational books and gifts. Native American Trading Company & Gallery

Featuring a wide variety of authentic Hand Crafted items from such cultures as: Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, Cherokee, Sioux, Mohawk, Ojibwa, Acoma, Santa Clara, Jemez, Athapascan and more the Native American Trading Company is an interesting place to visit. Minnetonka Moccasins in 60 plus styles and colors are in stock along with Pendleton blankets, robes and shaws. Masterworks Fine Pewter is a distinctive collection of hand crafted high quality figurines carried by the shop. Mark Hopkins "lost wax" bronze sculptures appreciated the world over for their beautifully flowing motion and superior quality are also featured. Unique designs of shirts featuring animals such as wolves and many Native American designs are offered.

The Art Gallery carries limited edition prints by Bev Doolittle, JD Challenger, Julie Kramer Cole, Lee Bogle, Herman Adams, Terry Redlin and many other artists.

Across from the Mark Twain Museum,The Native American Trading Company and Gallery just moved to a bigger building with a more convenient location. Their new address is 123 North Main in Hannibal. Pudd 'N' Heads

Vicki Lewis, owner of Pudd 'N' Heads, invites visitors to come see her 8 days a week. Now that may sound like a strange statement to most people but anyone who knows Vicki can easily interpret that. She simply likes to make people smile and besides it's her way of telling guests that she will go that extra mile for them. Pudd 'N' Heads has a beautiful assortment of hand-crafted treasures made by area artists and craftspeople. Antique glass wear, stuffed animals, quilts, beanie babies and collectibles are just some of the items you will find. Sterling silver charm bracelets with a huge variety of charms will delight the jewelry lover at Pudd 'N' Heads. Located at 115 Bird Street in Hannibal, the shop is open year round. The Country Shop

Grandpa Lyndel and Grandma Sister love to welcome visitors to their family store the Country Shop. They delight in finding out where their customers are from and encourage them to visit again soon.

Featured at the store are Robert Raikes wooden faced bears. The owners personal collection of Raikes bears are on display for the customers enjoyment. Frogs, frogs, frogs are a specialty as well as turtles, elephants, giraffes and most any of the large or small animals.

At the Country shop are lots of afghans and even a special Hannibal one that tells the story of Mark Twain. Lighthouses are a must on the river whether they are pewter, chimes, bird feeders or whatever. Remember Trolls? The Thomas Dam Trolls from Denmark have found a home at the Country Shop.

Whether you are looking for a Hermann Mohair bear or Marvin the Martain you won't be disappointed at the Country Shop, located at 203 North Main Street in Hannibal.

Relatively Country

If you have a hankering for country landscapes with realistic details or an interest in the unusual then you should visit Relatively Country.

Shirley and Rose Nemes opened their shop April 15 at 208 North Street in Hannibal.

Relatively Country not only features the Neme's own work but the work of other area artists and crafters. The shop is open seven days a week.

The mother-daughter business carries decorative plaques, wall hangings, miniature houses made of paper mache, painted crocks and other primitive items. Antiques are also featured. For additional information call (573) 221-0120.


Market Street Mall

Find trinkets and treasures untold at reasonable prices. Market Street Mall is offers isles of antiques and collectible treasures. Inside this antique hunters dream, you will find everything from majestic antique bedroom sets to gold rimmed eyeglasses from days past. Family owned and operated, Market Street Mall is a Hannibal favorite. Take time to stop and browse for the perfect Hannibal souvenir. Market Street Mall is located at 1408 Market Street. Smith's Treasure Chest

If you are in the market for a sofa, TV, or a bedroom set, chances are that you will find it at Smith's Treasure Chest. The Treasure Chest is a large shop that offers several new and previously owned items that range from antiques and collectibles to air conditioners and radios. All items are reasonably priced and offer exceptional quality.

Smith's Treasure Chest is located 315 South Third Street in Hannibal. Hours are Monday thru Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Credit cards are accepted and lay-a-way is available.

American Antique Mall

Formerly the "Old Print Shop Gallery", the shop offers several "must haves" for anyone new or old to the city. Mrs. Clemens Antique Mall

Mrs. Clemens Antique Mall, located at 305 N. Main Street, is one of the city's largest antique malls with two floors that boast over 60 booths filled with rare and hard to find antiques. They also feature Victorian prints, dolls, furniture, glassware, primitives, advertising, and are dealers for the new Anheuser-Busch Steins.
